ACJC boo boo

1st, if you don't know what is ACJC, it stands for Anglo-Chinese Junior College. A place where they only accept student with good grade. If you are stupid, don't even dream of entering this place.

2nd, please refer to this news article if you have been living in a well for the past days.

The article titled "ACJC girl tied up, roughed up, and humiliated on elite JC premises" reports that a JC girl is being forcefully brought to a chin-up bar. She was then being tied there and foreign objects such as cakes and drinks were being stuffed and thrown to her face and inside her shirt.

ALL THIS HAPPENING IN A SINGAPORE JUNIOR COLLEGE (JC)?

What's wrong with our students nowadays? Even JC students who are suppose to be the future pillars of Singapore turned out to be worst than ITE students (no offense to ITE students here). Is it because they study too much until they turned stupid? What's wrong?

If you don't see this incident as "bullying", I assure you that you have serious moral problem. It's time you see a doctor or Jigsaw will come and find you.

It's really saddening that this kind of barbarian style treatment is carried out in Singapore.

What really angers me was the reply from the principal. I shall quote some of her reply here.

- "a birthday celebration of a student who was popular with her peers"
- "no malice nor bullying involved"
- she was not hurt physically nor emotionally"
- "celebrations were all done in good fun"
- "activity was done in good humour"

Hey Mrs Kelvyna Chan (principal), are you mad?!

Mrs Kelvyna Chan, think of yourself in her shoe. How would you feel if you are being tied up, with no way to defend yourself, and having objects thrown to you. Would you think it's "good humour"?

Now think, what if this happen to your children (be it son or daughter)? Would you think that it's "all done in good fun" and "no malice or bullying involved"?

I know that birthday pranks are common during secondary school and tertiary school period. However, this is certainly too much! Just when I thought that the poor girl being tied up to the chin-up bar was crying, sobbing and screaming was bad enough, the principal's reply is simply adding fuel to the fire. But at least, the principal was seen with the effort trying to admit that she's involved in the bullying too. Also, since the principal say that the girl is "popular with her peers", I conclude that some of the teaching staffs took part in the bullying too. Nice way of using the word "popular".

Let's all boycott ACJC! If you insist on sending your children there, why not send your children to a torture chamber instead. You can save alot on paying the beasts.

It's time we tie the principal, Mrs Kelvyna Chan, to the chin-up bar and smash cakes and drinks at her since she's a "popular" figure in school too. I mean, who doesn't know the principal of their school right?
