Were young

We were once young. As a teenager, we like to play prank on each other, tell jokes about each other, going out together having great times. As a kid, we like to laugh at each other, help each other, running around the whole school or neighbourhood for unspokeable fun.

Mid-authum festival is the day when kids gather around at void deck or playground to show off their little lantern which couldn't even be brighter than a torch light. The playful ones would be burning their lanterns instead to feel "high". It was fun because I belong to the "playful ones".

After school, there would be water bomb session targetted at the innocent and well expected birthday boy. Remember it was so much fun even when I was just watching it at the far side of worrying the stray "bullets" while trying to capture the video.

We were young.

Everyone was once young.

However, some adult-minded big growns human can't accept the fact that kid is playful. They complain at the very little thing a kid does. Hey come on! Everyone was once a kid, playful and young. Unless you spent your 20 years of wonderful time staying in a kennel without much interaction with the outside world.

Be a little more forgiving over little matters and perhaps your day will be much better. No wonder those who always complain about every thing in life will die sooner. Me?

So what if we are bombarding water bags around? Does it matters alot to you because we don't invite you to the fun? Never played water bag when you were young? Worried that we would smash you and leave the plastic bag behind? We are far more intelligent than that.

So what if you see a bunch of kids making a mini "campfire" at the void deck? Are you worrying that the fire will spreads and burn down the whole HDB flat? Use your bloody common sense if you still have some. Not like they are burning kerosene oil or TNT chemicals.

Over-grown human with under-developed brain should just stop criticising at everything. Remember, you were once young. You once had fun. Don't vent your anger on something that makes you look stupid.
