Chinese New Year 2006

Year of dog. It's considered auspicious as dog is considered a good animal/pet for us chinese. Chinese New Year this year is celebrated on 29 Jan 06, which is yesterday!

Our family had our reunion dinner on 28 Jan 06 at Sakura, Downtown East. It's quite a feast and all the nonsense stuff I ate make me as full as a fool. The Chinese New Year on 29 Jan 06 is quite fun too. All the hong baos coming in makes me 70% richer although the atmosphere this year is obviously lacking. Don't know why.

Anyway, my hong bao money is $XYZ where X is less than Y is less than Z.

Emotional Me

Why? Sometimes I ask myself too. Why am I so emotional?

No matter how many happy things that happens to me in one day, it just take one sad one for me to gloom my day.

Sad issues such as reading a pitiful report on a newspaper, seeing people trying to sell that packet of tissue paper to earn their living or any other things that can make me sad.

No, sad story don't makes me sad. They are just fiction story make up by genius people.

Okay, cheer up. This is not a sad post.

Two Zero Zero Six.

So what? It's just about the Earth orbits one round the sun. On of my friend's MSN diplay name reads "another year of sorrow and disaster, will I survive in 1 piece?"

To others, it means a fresh new start. To me, it just means another day. Just that the year I write is different. Does it really matters?
