Can walk is good!

Ever since my grandma became dependent on wheelchair for her movement, I then truly realise the importance of having a healthy body and appreciate the beautiful of walking. The night before, she's still walking around the house and cooking fried rice for my dinner with slight complains of breathless. Now, she's need constant supply of oxygen for her to breathe and wheelchair to move about.

It really saddens me.

Whenever I see other old people who still can walk (even with walking stick or other support), I wish my grandma can get up and walk normally again. Every visit to the hospital to see her, I see she's the only one in her ward that has problem walking. Not only walking, simple movement such as sitting up or moving will get her grasping for air.

In the army, I see lots of young gentlemen having problems with their lower limbs. It can range from a simple ankle fracture to something more severe like knee dislocation or ligament tear. Of course, I can't say that they are fakers but definitely it's not good to have so many problems when you are so young.

Walk. Appreciate it. You won't want to ride on a wheelchair.
