Not an attention seeker

Someone asked me, why do I always like to put sentences such as "ok nothing to see here", "ok noob video of mine" or similar sentences into some of the contents I posted online. If that's so, why do I even bother to post it online, you ask.

For a start, whatever I posted online, you are free to comment but please take note that it's my content. I own the rights to it. If you are not happy, you can post your unhappy reply and I will IGNORE you. Don't worry, I won't say such thing like "not happy don't reply". Either way, I'm not obliged to take your comment seriously and improve on my contents. Still, I thank you for your comments and thank you for taking your precious time off to view what I created (be it photos, videos, blog entries or just a simple Twitter status update).

But, what I'm doing, is for myself. I post that photo, because I have a story to tell. I post that video, because I want to remember that moment. I post that blog entry, because I have something about me to share. I post that Twitter post, it's because I want to remember what I'm doing. Years later, when browsing through all these little pieces of memories, I will be able to recall that beautiful (or not so beautiful) moments of my life. I want to remember that excited feeling of unboxing something, that beautiful places in life which I've travelled, that achievement-unlocked moment.

It's definitely not something which you might be able to relate too but I still public it. After all, there's nothing I think it's very shameful to public. I don't hide my content but I don't go around asking people to view my content. You are free to view my posts and you are always free to ignore my posts too.

Although I don't expect people to view what I've posted, I still respect the law and generally respect people when I post about sensitive things. I don't like to post racial or religious remark as it will definitely get me into the news uninvited, inviting lots of unwanted attentions. I'm not an attention seeker so all these are not needed to boost my "fame".

Once in a while, I may behave wildly in public (not those drunkard type), it's because I just want to have fun. Being normal is too boring. I'm not doing that purposely just because I want the whole coffee shop to see me or the whole shopping mall to stare at me. More on this on my upcoming blog entry.

Once again, thank you for viewing my content. I really appreciate it. Even if it's accidental (eg click the wrong link in the search result), I still thank you.

I'm not an attention seeker but if you think my blog is so awesome that you cannot resist sharing it with your friends, feel free to do so.
