China, a country full of FAKES!

You cannot disagree because it's the truth.

China is simply a country full of fake stuff. From fake IPhone to fake Nokia phones. Pirated songs leaked days before official release. Faked eggs that is purposely colored to give red color egg yolks. Fake brands such as Fuma/Pama (original Puma), PenesamiG (original Pansaonic), 4-stripes Adidas (original is 3 stripes), Sdidsa/Daiads (original Adidas), Sccoby (original Scooby), Cnoverse Ball Star (original Converse All Star), Sonia (Sony), POP (original PSP) and many other more stupid brands.

Not long ago, they even have fake news reports. Reporters purposely make up news on a factory using cardboard to disguise it as minced meat. Obviously the reporters are clever to use this as a marketing headline because everyone wants to see more on what fake things China can come up with. Of course, the scam got exposed and we all know that nothing in China can be taken too seriously.

As if they want to broadcast their fame shame worldwide, they even faked the fireworks display to TV viewers at the Beijing Olympic. That's not all to convince the world that China is a country full of fakes! Even the little girl that sang at the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympic is fake too! She was just doing a lip-sync while the actual girl who sang the song is behind the stage.

In order to not make people forget about China after the Olympics, China has did it once again! Introducing fake milk products that left thousands of babies hospitalized and about a dozen dead. How fast we actually forget thing; this is not the first time that China has a milk scare. This time, an active ingredient uses in ink colorant and fertiliser, Melamine is being added to milk product to boost the protein level. Due to the fact that China milk is too low in protein level, they faked the protein level by adding some (or in fact alot) of Melamine to raise the protein's percentage. Stupid people do stupid thing causing the whole Asia going into a milk scare.

China, a country with 5000 years of history never fails to surprise me. What's next?

Once... and never again

Everyday, we see and encounter with alot of people be it at work, walking down the streets, while chilling out at the mall, in the lift with stranger or simply spying others from far. Some of the people we will get to see them more often than the others. Another "some of the people", we might just get to see them once and perhaps never again.

Maybe we don't even remember the look of that person already yet we still remember them. For example, your caregivers while you were a toddler, your playmates in kindergarten, your first employer while you were working part-time during the holidays, your very good buddy which you haven't seen for years. All this memories are slowly fading away but it will forever be a part of our memoric history.

So, where are you?

I'm not referring to anyone in particular but generally. Suddenly it seems so hard to find that person although you know you've tried all the means available to you. Are they still there? Are they still travelling on the same road or was it just a temporarily road that time. Are you still fine?

People come, people go.
People live, people die.

Maybe that meeting was a mistake that's why we might never meet again. Even if we do meet again, I might not have remembered who you are anymore. Time flies, age doesn't lies. Hope you all are doing well and let's meet again before I get laid in coffin.

P.S. This is not a love declaration.

Vehicle technician

Never ever in my life (even in my dream), I had visualise myself being a vehicle technician. A technician that wear coverall, go under the vehicle trying to fix some parts so that the vehicle can start moving safely on the road again. It's just so strange and weird that I'm a technician now, everyday fixing countless number of vehicles to make sure it's on road again for the drivers.

Yes, I'm a vehicle technician in the army. That's going to stick with me for the whole of my 2 years NS life and for the whole of my 10 years of reservist. A job which I have never visioned about is what I'm doing now. So strange. Since it's what I'm supposed to do, I will just do my job well.

Being a technician, I get to go under vehicle more than cats. Go on top of the vehicle more frequent than birds. Tighten and loosen bolts and nuts more than I eat peanuts. Sit directly on top of the engine more than I sit inside the vehicle. Step harder on the accelerator than I stepping DDR or cockroach. Open vehicle door more than I open my house door. Turn on the ignition to start the engine more than I get turned-on by pornographic material. Use saw dust to clean up spilled oil more than I play with sand.

Life is really sad being a vehicle technician because you see spoilt things everyday. For some unknown reason, there bound to be vehicles requiring repair work everyday. Sometimes I really wonder is it that the vehicles are lousy or the drivers are lousy. Maybe it's us technicians are lousy.

Despite all the demoralising days (and more coming ahead), I've actually learnt quite alot from being a vehicle technician. It's like going for extra courses out there and acquire a new skill. I never knew how to start engine, how to top up engine oil, how to on the signal lights, how to activate the gearbox, how the clutch works, how come steering wheel can turn and turn and turn and turn, how to dismantle an engine, how to do a complete servicing for the vehicle. Although I'm not the selected few who get the chance to go for driving course (which they will learn another skill), I got selected for the leadership course. I won't comment much on that course though.

Everyday, I learn something new while doing the repair works on the vehicles. There's simply just too much to learn.

For vehicle technicians, we are dealing with chemically treated oils while for combatants, they are playing with soil and mud from the Mother Earth. Which is better for health and for skin? You decide. Maybe it's time to realise that being a technician is as risky as running and crawling up and down the hill.

If you are thinking I'm wrong, I will say that you are wrong.

Vehicle technician, proud to be one. But that's not going to be my career.
